Andrea Bursten has Argentinean ancestry. The model is widowed in the death of her husband, Argentinean businessman and writer Federico Ribero. He passed away on June 17, 2013. The businessman Federico Ribero was diagnosed with lung carcinoma in May 2011. The condition has worsened in the years since and then succumbed to the disease.
