Annie Ilonzeh

Annette Ngozi Ilonzeh is a Nigerian-American actor. Between 2010 and 2011, she was Maya Ward on the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital and later starred as Kate Prince in the short-lived ABC reboot of Charlie's Angels. In the following years, she starred in regular role on television shows like Arrow, Drop Dead Diva and Empire. Ilonzeh, who was born Grapevine from Texas attended Colleyville Heritage High School. Her father is a Nigerian Igbo descendant, is her father and mother are both white. She made her debut on the screen in 2007 by appearing in the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. There were a few small roles she played in the film He's not That Into You Miss March and Percy Jackson & the Olympians The Lightning Thief. Ilonzeh was a part of the cast from 2009 until 2010, in the CW soap show Melrose Place. She also played a guest role for three episodes in Entourage. In 2010 until 2011, she played the role Maya Ward on the ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital. In the following years, she played recurring roles in shows like Arrow Drop Dead Diva or Empire. Ilonzeh starred as Kidada Jones, in the biographical film, The All Eyez at Me. Also, she starred in Til Death Do Us Part. In the year 2018, she started co-starring as Emily Foster in NBC's drama Chicago Fire.
